How You Can Help

With your support we can furnish these rooms to provide a safe space for the Parkrose community children and youth to thrive and grow in to whatever they want to be. Each room has it’s own unique needs and your In-Kind Gifts and Cash Donations may be tax deductible as we are a 501(C)3 non-profit organization. Below is a list of needs for each room, “your network is your networth”, so please share this information with your friends, family, peers, church and community organizations.

Our Needs:

Appliances & Kitchen Supplies – Help us teach the kids to cook

Athletic Gear – Boxing Gloves, Baseball Gloves/bats/balls, Footballs, Frisbees etc

Books – All Ages

Computers and Tablets  

Clothing (new In Package) – Socks, Underwear, T-Shirts, Shoes, Jackets etc

Flooring – Carpet and Tile

Gaming – Pool Table (s), Ping Pong Table, TV’s, Video Games

Gym Equipment – Rubber Mats, Boxing Ring, Storage for equipment, Weight Racks, Weight Lifting, Elliptical & Treadmill (s), Smith Machine, Battle Ropes etc

Paint – Including Painting Supplies

Shelfing and Cabinets

School Supplies – After School Programs

Our Community Programs

  • Become a monthly Food Distribution Location:  Work with local agencies to provide a drive thru for BMIT and Local Families
  • Friday and Saturday night Teen activities: Games, workshops; like painting, low cost entrepreneur opportunities for teens 
  • Clothing & School Supples to sustain children through the year
  • Dress for Success and Etiquette classes – Show our kids how to dress and act in public to improve their self esteem 
  • Create  “The BMIT Closet” to provide clothing for job interviews and other life situations

We Have Fun

When children have access to activities that keep them focused, they grow as human beings. Lets help our kids be kids by supporting opportunities to attend: Professional Sporting events, Local Amusement Parks, OMSI, Educational Field Trips etc.
